Ένα συρτάρι η ζωή μου με ενθύμια,
από στιγμές μοναδικές των περασμένων χρόνων
και κάπου κει ανάμεσα διάσπαρτα δοκίμια,
που πήραν την απόχρωση φθοράς των γκρίζων τόνων.

Αναγνωρίζω το παιδί που γράφει στις σελίδες!
Θα `θελα μόνο να του πω «αχ πόσο λίγα είδες!» ............
Σε είδα μια γλυκιά βραδιά κοντά στη γειτονιά μου,
μου έριξες κλεφτή ματιά, που πυροδότησε φωτιά
στην άπειρη καρδιά μου.
Στο μυαλό έννοια καμιά, έλαμπε η ανεμελιά
στα πράσινα σου μάτια.
Μα ήρθαν δίσεκτοι καιροί κι έφεραν πλήγμα βαρύ
και όνειρα κομμάτια.................
Αν θέλεις μείνε κι άκουσε, πολύ λίγο με νοιάζει,
αυτά που σκέφτομαι καιρό, τώρα θα σου τα πω:
Η στάση σου απέναντι σε μένα δεν ταιριάζει
το στοίχημα εις βάρος μου είναι πολύ νωπό.
Δε συμβιβάζομαι μ’ αυτά που μου προσφέρεις,
τα λόγια σου έχουν πέσει στο κενό..........

An awkward silence hiding inside a fragile moment now, the words we’ve said keep crashing like loaded cars that lose their ground. Our love is blacklisted already, danger’s waiting just ahead, like a race car on the corner bound to skid and lose control instead. ............
